One animal hospital. Two dated snapshots. 49 measurement points.
These snapshots show the same local animal-hospital search across 49 locations. Each marker records the ranking at that point.
Average map rank was 8.6 on September 1, 2025 and 1.7 on August 31, 2026. Lower is better. The comparison shows the measured dates, rather than a guarantee of future rankings.
August 2026 produced 1,773 profile views, up 40.7% against August 2025, and 155 call-button clicks, up 46.2% against the same month. Those are taps on the call button in the Google listing, which is what the data records. It does not tell us how many were answered, so we will not call them calls.

Why this page opens with a date range
Most agency case studies give you a percentage and no window, because a percentage with no dates cannot be checked and cannot go stale. Every figure above carries the period it was measured in, and if you ask for the grid images we will send them.
The profile activity behind the numbers
1,773 profile views and 155 call-button clicks in August 2026, up 40.7% and 46.2% against August 2025.
What we actually changed
None of it was clever. All of it was tedious, which is the honest reason most practices never get it done.
A page for each service.
Wellness exams, dental, surgery, diagnostics, and boarding are separate searches with separate intents. One services page cannot rank for any of them well.
The Google Business Profile (GBP), the listing that appears on Google Maps, built out completely.
Categories layered correctly, every service entered with a description, photos current, weekly posts tied to what the practice wanted more of.
Emergency intent separated from wellness intent.
Somebody searching emergency vet at 11pm and somebody searching vet near me on a Tuesday afternoon need different pages and different information.
Reviews that name the service.
A review mentioning a dental cleaning helps the practice get found for dental cleaning. One saying the staff were lovely helps the rating and nothing else.
Citations corrected.
Yelp, Apple Maps, Bing Places, and the veterinary directories Google cross-checks. Getting Bing right matters more than people assume, since it is what several AI assistants read.
Three things that make veterinary different
Your patient is not your client.
The animal is the patient, the owner decides, and the searches are written in the owner's language. A page about feline dental prophylaxis will lose to a page about cat teeth cleaning every time.
Emergency and routine are two different businesses in one building.
One is a panicked search at an odd hour where the map decides everything. The other is a considered choice where reviews and services matter more.
Reviews carry more emotional weight here than almost anywhere.
People write about their animals the way they write about family, which makes review requests easier to get and review replies more consequential to get wrong.
What it costs
Plans start at $1,497 a month, and the pricing page lists what each plan covers so you can read it before speaking to anyone. Four-month initial term, then month to month with 30 days notice, and no setup fee. Your Google Business Profile is included, built out and managed, including for a multi-veterinarian clinic.
The scans shown here are nearly a year apart, from September 1, 2025 to August 31, 2026. They record the ranking at those two points in time, not when every improvement happened. Your starting point, local competition and ongoing work shape your own timeline.

Common questions
How do veterinary practices get more clients online?
Through the Google map and through service-level pages, because pet owners search for a practice near them and then compare on reviews and services. Wingman Digital maps where a practice ranks across its whole service area first, then builds out the profile, the service pages, and the citations that extend that coverage.
What results have you produced for a veterinary practice?
The animal-hospital scans shown on this page recorded average map rank 8.6 on September 1, 2025 and 1.7 on August 31, 2026 across the same 49-point grid. The August 2026 profile report also recorded 155 call-button clicks. Lower average rank is better; clicks do not confirm answered calls.
Should emergency and routine care have separate pages?
Yes, because they are two different searches with two different urgencies. An owner searching at midnight needs hours, location, and a phone number above everything else. An owner choosing a regular practice is reading about services, staff, and reviews.
How much does veterinary marketing cost?
Local service businesses are commonly quoted $2,000 to $4,000 a month across the industry. Wingman Digital plans start at $1,497 a month, and the pricing page lists what each plan covers. Your Google Business Profile is included, built out and managed.
How long did that result take?
The screenshots are nearly a year apart, from September 1, 2025 to August 31, 2026. They show two measured snapshots, not the exact point when a particular ranking was first reached. Results depend on the business, its starting visibility and local competition.
